Every week we pick out a few numbers that are so significant we have to give them a second look. Today we’re looking at key figures from Ferrari, Ford, Toyota, and more.

The number of examples of the Ferrari SP38 that will be built. The one-off was ordered by "one of Ferrari’s most dedicated customers," and is based on the 488 GTB. It will make its official debut on May 26.

That’s how much horsepower (521 kilowatts) could be available on the new Ford Mustang Shelby GT500… and then some. The Blue Oval teased its powerful new muscle car this week, showing its sharp angles and new performance features from above. We should see the entire car in just a few weeks.

The miles per gallon of the new Corolla Hatchback on the highway, that’s with the marque’s new CVT (or up to 36 combined). It also comes with an asking price of just $19,990 for the entry-level SE with a manual transmission, or $21,090 for the SE with the CVT.

The number of cars that will be on sale at Porsche’s 70th anniversary auction in Atlanta – including this stunner. This 1956 356 A 1600 S Speedster has been with its current owner 51 years, and has driven just 30,000 original miles. Don’t expect it to go for cheap.
